ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) map

This course is designed for speakers of other languages who would like to improve their English speaking and listening and their reading and writing skills. Many people find that having an ESOL qualification improves their employment prospects. It also helps them integrate into the local community.
The course runs for 2.5 hours a week for half a year. Your tutor will prepare resources that are relevant to you and your life in the UK. You must attend an Information, Advice and Guidance session before you can join the course.

Free Maths Skills map

This is a free course that is designed for those who would like to gain a maths Functional Skills qualification. This is appropriate for anyone who does not have a Level 2 qualification in Maths (GCSE grade C and above). Unless otherwise stated you will need to attend class on two sessions per week.
You will develop useable skills that can boost your CV, improve your chances of finding work, help you get a promotion, budgeting your money and even support your child with their homework.
You will work in a friendly and relaxed group and learn how to apply maths to a variety of everyday situations.

Free Beginners Childcare Level 1 map

This free course is aimed at anyone who is interested in working and caring for young children. The course will enable you to achieve the CACHE Level 1 award Caring for Children. On this course you will learn about growth and development, practical health and safety, respecting children and craft activities for young children.
All vocational courses will develop learners' maths and English skills through embedding with learners achieving functional skills qualifications appropriate to their identified level.
